Manufacturing a desocolumn

In 2012, for example, we manufactured a desocolumn for an edible oil factory in North Rhine-Westphalia. The column had a diameter of approx. 3.5 m, a length of almost 26 m and a total weight of approx. 30 tons.
Depending on the task, we process a wide variety of metallic materials. We finish the surfaces using suitable processes to protect them against corrosion or aggressive media. We work closely with recognized testing organizations such as TÜV Technische Überwachung Hessen GmbH to ensure the quality of our products.
– SCOPE OF SERVICES Design and layout in accordance with TRD, AD regulations, DRGL, ANSI, ASME; planning, preliminary testing, production, quality assurance (construction, pressure, weld seam, leak test, etc.), surface treatment.
Messer Industriemontagen & Apparatebau GmbH had exactly four months to manufacture this enormous apparatus with six employees.
The dimensions of the tank are Approx. 26 meters long and approx. 3.5 meters in diameter. The column has a weight of approx. 25 tons and the transporter including the load had a height of approx. 4.2 meters.
